Rollercoaster Tycoon, The Movie

Posted on August 16th, by admin in Movies, Press. No Comments

Heatvisionblog.com got a scoop that Sony Pictures Animation has picked up movie rights to Rollercoaster Tycoon. Atari’s Jim Wilson will be executive producer with Nick Reed and Zwart for the movie. Zwart is also the director of upcoming The Karate Kid remake.

The games have sold well and are very fun so why not make a movie? I mean there are many other popular franchises that have movies, like Super Mario Brothers or Street Fighter. Lets just hope it goes the route of Street Fighter so we can get Rollercoaster Tycoon: The Movie, The Game. Anyone think this has any potential? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t.
